Maria Elena Holguin, A.S.I.D.

is a licensed Interior Designer and the Design Director of the Coral Gables Showroom at Robb & Stucky. She is a proud fourth-generation designer, following in the footsteps of her great-grandfather, grandfather and father, carpenters and upholsterers in Cuba. She has worked in architecture, design and construction for over 30 years and has completed projects throughout the United States, England, Africa, India, Mexico and Colombia. 

Her seasoned skills have enabled her to design spaces from a 600-sqft apartment a 20,000-sqft home in Africa and for the past 3 years got her hands in Hospitality Design throughout Florida.

She has worked for several leading international companies. Her impressive list of credentials includes 2018 Builders Association of S. Florida / 1 st Place Design - Panorama Towers model, was voted Top 15 Interior Designer of Miami 2015; Won best of HOUZZ 2015; was awarded MERCEDES-BENZ Woman of Excellence Award 2015 and was one of the 2014 FemCity Top 5 Business Women of the Year. Maria Elena uses her design talent for philanthropic projects throughout South Florida. She has redesigned the McLamore Center for Children’s Home Society, designed and remodeled a room for a terminally ill girl as one of her “last wishes” and most recently, she was the Project Director for “The United Cerebral Palsy Baby House Project. A Miami native, Maria Elena is fluent in English and Spanish, she holds a Bachelor in

Interior Design from Florida International University and completed an Art & Architectural studies in Vicenza, Italy. In local design circles, she has been called a “Designer to The Stars” after completing interiors for several celebrities, including Pitbull. She loves working with clients who appreciate design and architecture.

Her experience spans from residential, commercial and hospitality projects, bespoke furniture and set designs. Whether it is a 20,000 sq.ft. home in Tanzania, Africa, a building for young adults with Cerebral Palsy or a room for a young girls last wish, Maria Elena always puts her heart into every project.
